Ripples of Impact

The Power of Ripples

Like a stone dropped into a still pond, the work done at Charlson Meadows radiates outward, touching lives in ways both seen and unseen. As this year comes to a close, we are reminded of the beauty in a simple ripple. Our role is to open the space, providing serenity, and resources. But it is you—our guests, and nonprofit leaders—who transform those ripples into waves of lasting change.

A Year of Growth

This year, Charlson Meadows hosted 142 day groups and 61 overnight groups, welcoming nearly 4,000 guests through our doors. Among them were 53 new organizations, each bringing unique missions and meaningful work to our space. In the Giving Garden, volunteers contributed 132 hours, producing over 1,300 pounds of fresh produce, which was shared with community partners like The Humanity Alliance and Westonka Food Shelf. Even our bees were industrious, gifting 5 1/3 gallons of honey in their first season.

The Heart of Our Impact

The true impact of Charlson Meadows; however, is measured not by these numbers but by the ripples you create. Nonprofits have found clarity to expand their missions. Guests have discovered moments of peace to refuel their spirits. Volunteers have offered their hands and hearts to join us in our mission. Together, these ripples travel far beyond our grounds, strengthening the fabric of our community.

Looking Ahead with Gratitude

As we look ahead, we do so with gratitude for each of you. May the ripples you’ve created this year continue to inspire and uplift, reminding us all of the power of connection and the lasting impact of even the smallest acts of love and service.
