Meet Barb, Board Member
Introducing Barb Hone, Board Member of Charlson Meadows
It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. ~ Albert Einstein
Barb Hone is a teacher at heart. She will always teach – it’s the subject matter that changes. Whether it’s writing, private piano lessons, or another creative endeavor, Barb shows up with energy and enthusiasm.
As Founder of the Arts Consortium of Carver County, the founder/organizer of their ArtStock Art, Wine & Music Festival, and the creator of Purple Reign- a community event honoring Prince, Barb champions artists and their art. She has a special gift for dreaming up, designing, and promoting ways to connect our community to the arts.
Another one of her projects, Barn Quilts of Carver County, MN highlights the expansion of the barn quilt trail- a free open-air art gallery throughout the countryside. Her gift of teaching can be seen in her books which share the history of barn quilts from the perspective of the barn owners who host the commissioned painted quilts on their barns.
Here at Charlson Meadows, Barb serves on our Board of Directors and offers her gifts of connecting and creativity to our vision. She appreciates our mission to serve the servers and values the feelings of generosity we offer to all of our guests.
With gratitude, we honor Barb Hone for investing her heart, talent, and creativity at Charlson Meadows by serving on our Board. Barb adds joy and creative expression to every project. We are thankful to have her on our team.
